POKY App Review (2026): The Cheapest Shopify Importer, and What You Give Up
A review of POKY — Product Importer: $2.95/month flat, unlimited imports, 28+ source platforms, and a custom scraper builder. What it does better than every rival, and the two things it deliberately leaves out.
POKY is the price outlier in the Shopify product-importer category, and it isn't close. One plan, $2.95 a month, unlimited imports, 28+ source platforms. Most rivals charge more for a fraction of the coverage.
That kind of pricing usually signals a stripped-down tool. POKY isn't — it's genuinely the broadest importer available. But it makes two deliberate omissions, and whether they matter to you decides the whole question.

The pricing, in full
There is one plan.
All-in-One Pack — $2.95/month, after a 2-day trial. It includes import from all platforms, unlimited scraper builder, ChatGPT integration, supplier search, unlimited imports per month, and premium support.
No tiers, no per-import metering, no per-store surcharge published on the pricing page. For comparison, Kopy starts at $9.99 and PagePilot at $39.
Platform coverage is the real story
POKY lists 28+ source platforms: WooCommerce, Google Shopping, PrestaShop, BigCommerce, Magento, OpenCart, Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart, SHEIN, AliExpress, Alibaba, CJ Dropshipping, Banggood, 1688, Mercari, Target, Temu, RedBubble, Shopee, Faire, Best Buy, Mercado Livre, Wish, Vistaprint, Squarespace, Bol, YouCan Shop, CartPanda, and Lazada.
Compare that with the eight or nine sources typical of this category. POKY covers the entire long tail: European platforms (PrestaShop, Bol), Latin American (Mercado Livre), Southeast Asian (Shopee, Lazada), wholesale (1688, Faire), and legacy self-hosted carts (Magento, OpenCart).
And when a platform isn't on the list, the scraper builder lets you define your own extraction rules. No competitor in this comparison ships that. If you source from a regional supplier nobody else supports, POKY is not merely the cheapest option — it may be the only one.
The ChatGPT integration
POKY connects to ChatGPT for description enhancement and translation with no separate fee. Their claim is that you can enhance or translate over 1,000 products for less than $1 in API cost.
That's an unusual model and worth understanding: you're paying OpenAI directly for tokens rather than paying POKY for AI credits. For high volume it's dramatically cheaper than bundled-credit pricing. The trade-off is a setup step and an extra account.
What POKY leaves out
No AI page builder. POKY imports products. It does not generate landing pages, conversion-oriented layouts, or ad creative. If you want the product page built as well as populated, POKY doesn't do that, and neither its price nor its feature list pretends otherwise.
No free plan. A 2-day trial, then $2.95. That's the shortest trial in the category — though at this price the stakes are low.
Import-first, not conversion-first. This is the philosophical divide. POKY moves catalogue efficiently. It has no opinion about whether the resulting page sells.
Who POKY is right for
You source from unusual platforms. Decisive. Nothing else covers Bol, Mercado Livre, 1688, or Shopee.
You import at high volume. Unlimited imports at $2.95 flat means the per-product cost approaches zero. A 5,000-product migration costs the same as five products.
You're migrating from WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, or OpenCart. These are first-class sources here, not afterthoughts.
You already have a page-building solution. If your theme and templates are sorted, you're paying only for import — exactly what POKY sells.
Who should look elsewhere
You need the product page built, not just filled. Imported marketplace descriptions convert poorly as-is. Verdict
POKY is the best pure importer available and it isn't a close contest. Widest platform coverage, a scraper builder for everything else, unlimited volume, and a price that makes the decision almost frictionless.
It's the wrong tool if your bottleneck is conversion rather than catalogue. Getting 500 products into Shopify is the easy half of dropshipping; making the resulting pages sell is the hard half, and POKY doesn't claim that territory.
Match the tool to your actual bottleneck. If it's "I can't get products in from the platform I use," buy POKY today. If it's "my imported pages don't convert," a cheaper importer won't fix it.
